Weekly Events
Rooted
Rooted is CU's weekly leadership lecture series, where we invite speakers, enjoy dinner, and worship together. Join us every Friday at 5:45 PM at the Mouse (31 Whitney Ave.)! Dinner is provided!
Bible Course
Join a Bible Course this semester! Bible Courses are our opportunity to richly dive into Scripture and theology on a weekly basis. We meet once a week with other students of the same age and gender to grow in community and practice studying, analyzing, and applying the Word.
Post-Church Brunch
You are invited to CU's weekly Post-Church Brunch! Head over to the Branford Dining Hall when your church's service ends. The official start time is 11:00 AM, but you can always show up later too. We will have a seat for you!
Study Hall
Looking for study spots, accountability, and friends? Study Hall will be held weekly on Sunday and Tuesday evenings from 9 PM to midnight at the Mouse (31 Whitney Ave.) and Bass Library, respectively. To promote productivity, the Pomodoro study method will be implemented.
Prayer Table
On Sundays from 4:30 to 5:30 PM, our Outreach team holds a Prayer Table at Bass Library, inviting anyone to join us to receive prayer and fellowship. Feel free to drop by and join us for a moment of your day, and pray with us for our fellow members of the Yale community!
Periodic Events
Worship Nights
CU Lux holds both planned and spontaneous worship nights throughout the semester at the Mouse, Beinecke Plaza, and around campus! Everyone is welcome, and we encourage you to bring any friends and family to praise and worship the Lord together.
Social Events
We host everything from game nights, East Rock hikes, outdoor sports, cookouts, and more! Take a break from studying to get to know fellow members in our community through CU Lux’s social events.
Prayer Meetings
We gather as a community to spend time with the Lord through group prayer meetings throughout the semester. Join us as we seek guidance and blessings for the year ahead.
Outreach Events
Through spaces like Prayer Table and AskCliffe, our Outreach team, along with the rest of the community, seek to spread the Word all around campus.
Retreats
A few times per year, our community goes on a weekend retreat to seek the Lord, rejuvenate, and bond with others in the faith.
