Demilade Omolade is an unashamed and unapologetic junior Trumbullian from Baltimore, Maryland. At the age of 7, he immigrated to the USA from Nigeria: this relocation ultimately placed him on a self-discovering journey, as he sought to reconcile his Nigerian heritage with the challenges of americanization. Demilade would later discover that his identity could not be encapsulated by a nationality but needed to be grounded in the love of God, whom he accepted into his life in his 7th grade year. Demilade hopes to share the love he discovered in Jesus by consistently engaging in evangelism. At Yale, Demilade is pursuing a major in Neuroscience and a certificate in Yoruba. In his freetime, he seeks to voraciously consume literature while pushing his physical ability through weight lifting, running, and dancing.
